Some coffee shops for working in Saigon

If you want to find a coffee shop with quiet atmosphere to focus on working or have some small talks with your friends, well… I got you covered! While I was in Vietnam, I could not work at home due to mainly unstable internet connection and a bit of “noise pollution”. As an introvert, I needed a quiet place with strong internet connection to work so I looked for different coffee shops that could do so. This post is a mini collection of some nice and peaceful coffee shops that I discovered while I was in Vietnam.
(Note that public library is not really available in Vietnam)

Shibui Concept

Address: 3rd Floor, 176 Le Lai street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 700000, Vietnam

This place is literally just across the street from my home so I went there mostly. It is well hidden on the 3rd floor of the building with simple design. The place is quite small with few tables so you will probably see 01 staff there, and that is totally reasonable. Coffee and drinks are decent, seats are comfortable and more importantly, it’s peaceful and the internet connection is stable for working! I spent like… 4 hours when I was there.

My “work corner” at the shop!

Danshari

Address: 133/3 (Alley 133), Nguyen Chi Thanh street, Ward 9, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
(Check out their other location: 9A Phan Ke Binh street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)

I found this place on the day I visited my high school teachers in District 5. It’s well hidden in alley 133 (Hem 133), close to my old high school. The atmosphere is really quiet and peaceful here; great internet connection and great drinks; and I did have a good time focus on my work (like… 3 hours here)!

Rang Rang Coffee

Address: Floor 1, 25 Ho Tung Mau, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
(They have many locations, this is just one of them. Check out other locations here.)

I knew this place when I hung out with my dear friend. He was really introverted, disciplined, focused and he recommended this coffee shop to me, so you kinda know his style of coffee shops. This place is more spacious than the other two. Located in the downtown area of the city, it served great coffee and coffee-based drinks. And more important, it was quiet! I didn’t have to “yell” on the top of my lung to talk to my friend here.

To my introverted friends, this post is dedicated to you!
