I actually know about this place for more than two years now but late in writing about this due to spending all of my focus on my thesis defense. Now that it is all done, I want to shower this place with compliments, from the food quality to the friendliness of the staff.
First of all, the sashimi was spectacular, the fish was cut thick, fresh and melt right in your mouth. Then, come to the sushi, I really liked that the piece of fish on top is almost triple the size of the rice beneath it. The eel sauce was tasty on the classic dragon rolls as well as the eel sushi. We also tried a few drink and they were great (according to my husband).
Secondly, the staff was super lovely. The lady in charge of our table had a great sense of humor when bringing out the food for us, joked with us lightheartedly on how much sashimi for myself while my husband only had two rolls (he just loved the rolls), and we all laughed at that.
Note that the space is small but it is very cozy, and the tables are filled pretty fast. Near the dinner time, the wait time might be long if you do a walk-in so I highly recommend having a reservation ahead of time.
Overall, we always have a great time there. It has been our favorite spot for sashimi ever since, even though it is quite a drive but totally worth it!
