Shout out to my boyfriend’s family for the lovely gift: A Coffee Beanery gift basket!
They just know we love coffee so much!
The gift has been with us since the beginning of June, and I decided to do a taste test on all the coffee packs. There is a total of 12 packs in the basket and I’m gonna review 3 packs per post. Each pack is ~ 50 grams, and it is instructed to go with 48 oz of freshly filtered water for 8 cups (reminder: a coffee cup is 6 oz). If you want your coffee has a stronger taste, reduce the water amount to 36 oz. Not recommend to finish all the coffee in one go… don’t be like me… I have a mild coffee shock…

Hazelnut
- Visual: Transparently brown
- Aroma: Very nice and pleasing aroma with strong hazelnut scent; long-lasting aroma whether you serve it hot or cold
- Taste: First taste seems bitter and sour, but the aftertaste is soothing with a taste of hazelnut stays at the end of the throat.
- Can go with creamer

Colombian
- Visual: Transparently brown
- Aroma: Usual, aroma of coffee beans, no special scent detected, quite short-lasting
- Taste: Very pleasant taste of medium-roast beans, nice aftertaste, no bitter or sour taste.
- Great choice for a daily “dose” of coffee, go well with creamer, milk, condensed milk.

Toffee
- Visual: Transparently light brown
- Aroma: Pleasing with sweet candy scent; long-lasting aroma whether you serve it hot or cold
- Taste: First taste seems sour, the aftertaste is soothing with a candy-taste at the end of the throat.
- NOT go well with creamer: it ruins the original taste of toffee.
Stay tune for next parts! We have 9 packs left!
