A post on how to cook rice??? That sounds too ordinary!!! Well… it would sound simple if you have a multifunctional rice cooker… But what if you don’t have one? Don’t worry, this post is for you. The table below showed a brief summary on the key factor to have perfect rice with 3 different types of rice: jasmine rice (white rice), brown rice and black rice.

| Heat | Bring to boil on medium-high heat then down to simmer, with lid on | Bring to boil on medium-high heat then down to simmer, with lid on | Bring to boil on medium-high heat then down to simmer, with lid on |
| Simmer time | 10 – 15 minutes | 45 minutes | 45 minutes |
By the end of the simmer time, turn off the heat, let it cool down completely before storage.
