I have been a big fan of Xiao Long Bao, have attempted to make it several times but… not really successful. Fortunately, I found Happy Bao! The place is humble inside Mekong Plaza on Dobson Road, small place with all of cute dumpling decorations.
After my first bite, my thought was… why didn’t I know this place sooner?
The Xiao Long Bao was absolutely amazing! The thickness of the shell was just right that it was somewhat translucent when steamed. Bite a hole on the shell and slurp the soup inside, then dip in the sauce… mmmm… the savory and satisfying taste that I have been long for.
What’s else? The staffs were friendly and services were fast! Totally love this place and definitely I will go back for more!
