No recipe/foodie posts this week

Usually I will have new posts on Tuesdays and Fridays. However, no recipe or food review this week because I’m attending a conference in Florida. It’s a 6-day long conference. And I’m honored to be an oral presenter, showing my research work to the scientific community.

My research is, indeed, about titanium. I’m going to talk about a low-temperature synthesis for TiO2 with high surface area, and for the record, TiO2 is one of the most important materials in both research and industry.

I love food and I also love my science work. Both are exciting and relatable. I know that this blog is mainly about food, but there is still a “ME” sub-page (for me) to share a bit about my life. I’m still on the pathway to be a chemist, and the food blog is my hobby, my inner extroverted world.

This conference is a big step for me, showing that my effort has been slowly paid off. I am also accepted to be a presenter again in ACS Spring 2023, occurs in March, one of the largest chemistry conference. I would want to take a moment to be proud of myself.
And same to you, take a moment and be proud of yourself.
