Out of the blue we found this place with amazing Vietnamese dishes that are not just Pho. I mean, their Pho is really good, even my professor approved it; their Spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue) is also stunning. But aside from that, they have many delicious unpopular Vietnamese dishes, such as Crab udon soup, steamed clamps and garlic butter scallops that are even better than Orange County’s Vietnamese restaurants. True to authentic taste. Not many places can put clamps and seafood dishes in their menus. They do have some everyday specialties that you might want try if you can understand Vietnamese (so proud in this situation hahaha…). The place is small but usually busy. I guess good news travel fast, right?

The only minus point is that the Vietnamese coffee in their menu is NOT true to the authentic delicious taste of Vietnamese coffee. It’s made from instant Vietnamese coffee and for your record, if you buy Trung Nguyen’s G7 Vietnamese instant coffee and add it to hot water, mix with some condensed milk, and voila, you would have the same taste! Other than that, the food is great, totally worth to visit again and again!

If you happen to be around the area, feel free to stop by and try different unpopular dishes from our Vietnamese cuisine. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
